"The hotel was to be a treat for completing the Camino de Santiago. The hotel staff are wonderful and the rooms and hotel are stunning. But I really wish someone would have told me they were renovating the hotel before I booked. It was noisy the hotel has scaffolding around most of hotel which was a bummer. But they did change my room for me after the noise above was intolerable. "

"I can't speak highly enough about this hotel. The property/lobby photos don't do it justice...the hotel oozes charm. We felt more like we were in the UK versus Spain, the only thing missing was a roaring fire in the common area (although there is a small gas fireplace in the cafe). The service was fantastic, especially the ladies in the cafe in the morning. Front desk was incredibly helpful with lending us charging cables and an umbrella. Large rooms, water in the bathroom nice & hot, and comfy...

"Great basic clean room with efficient buffet breakfast (optional) Monastery is in great shape and where else can you stay in one that has 4 feet thick stone walls? Good for peregrinos on the Camino (like us) or just a holiday"
