Livin' the Dream is a sparkling clean gorgeous 2000 sq. ft. beach home located only 1.5 blocks from the sugar white beaches. The house is minutes away from the Destin Commons, which boasts many restaurants, a movie theater, bowling alley, many dining options, and great shopping. The two story house has covered porch/balconies on both the front and back sides of the home. The home boasts a private pool, with heating optional for an additional fee during the colder months. New upgrades include a newly renovated kitchen, triple queen bunk beds, new white vinyl privacy fencing, LED string lighting around pool deck and all brand new kitchen appliances. All 4 bathrooms have been upgraded to quartz countertops, large LED mirrors, new fixtures. ALL linen is freshly washed after each stay to include comforters, quilts, blankets and shams. We have 6-8 beach chairs, a cooler, beach wagon, 14-16 beach towels. For small kids we have a pack n play, baby gate for inside, and safety gate for pool area. ALL BEDS ARE LUXURY MEMORY FOAM MATTRESSES

Downstairs you have your open livingroom and kitchen with a brand new large custom Barn wood table enough for 8 people! Every room has a large flat screen smart TV with access to complimentary nexfix account.
Downstairs boasts 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
1st bedroom is a large Master bedroom with a King size bed with private full bathroom.
2nd bedroom on the first floor has custom triple queen bunk beds.(bunk beds suitable for adults or children)
2nd full bathroom is shared access is in the hallway. Both rooms have access to covered back porch and pool area.

2nd floor boasts 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
1st bedroom is a Master bedroom with King size bed and attached completely renovated full bathroom with a deep soaker tub. Sliding glass doors give you access to a covered balcony looking over the pool.
2nd bedroom is a large room with a King size bedroom with 2 futon sofas for seating or an extra sleeping space with private access to front balcony.
3rd bedroom has Queen size bed with access to back covered balcony looking over the pool area.
2nd bathroom is a shared full bathroom in hallway.

Note: Golf cart rental is available at a discounted rate, please inquire about this wonderful amenity.
All pets must be approved before booking for insurance purposes. Non refundable pet fee will be applied to your stay.
Pool heating is available in the colder months. Please inquire before arrival.
We have installed a ring doorbell viewing our porch and front yard/ parking. This is monitored for security of our property and for the safety of our guests.

Our property accommodates 4 vehicles parking spaces during your stay. No trailers or campers. Parking is heavily enforced by city code officers. All rules apply.

There is a STRICT NO SMOKING policy in our home!

We do NOT host COLLEGE groups. Any instabooking executed outside our house rules will be asked to cancel immediately.

We were.all AMAZED and felt WE were LIVIN A DREAM !! The HouSe was IMMACULATE with all the immentities of Home from soft luxurious towels ...SpiCes for.cooking ...necessities for the the babies and kidz...we definitely want to go back !!! The pool was heated and used constantly and the GOLF cart was a charm to get us around to GREAT restaurants a hand throw away and shopping

Excellent experience all around. Short walk to beach if you don’t want to rent a golf cart. House had everything to include beach chairs, beach canopy, pack and play. Second time we stayed there and enjoyed it both times. Highly recommend.

Annual Family Vacation
Our Family Vacation consists of our Mother, myself and two younger Sisters, along with our Husbands, plus, my Cousin and his wife. My Mother is the youngest and only living Sister of three, so, our vacations are important to all of us. Our Vacation Home was beautiful and very clean, except for the carpet on the steps going upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need to cook breakfast for everyone and we had plenty of bath and pool towels supplied. We had 9 Adults vacationing this year, with 5 bedrooms and 4 Bathrooms. It worked out well for everyone, except my Husband and I because we stayed in the room with three queen bunk beds. The first night, we climbed up to the second bunk. Climbing down the ladder in the middle of the night, was painful on the feet. The second night, we slept on the bottom bunk, which was more comfortable, but, climbing out was a bit of a challenge. I believe the bunk beds would work better for children or younger adults. All in all, we had a great vacation. Our Hosts were amazing and were available for questions or anything we needed. Renting the golf cart really came in handy. I wish we could have checked out at 10am rather than 9am because we spent our last evening packing and preparing for the check out, rather than spending time together.

This beach house was one of the BEST my family & I has stayed in . BEAUTIFUL,BEAUTIFUL HOME! The owners are so kind , we had no issues with anything & the smallest thing we needed help with Mike came right out & assisted us with it . The house was very clean , smelled amazing . 3-5 min walk to beach . 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!! We will be back forsure .

This was by far our best stay in Destin. The accommodations were perfect and clean. we loved the kitchen/family room. Truly amazing
Such a great stay for our family of 10. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, super comfortable beds. The golf cart is 100% worth it for convenience, the beach isn’t FAR but with tents, coolers, etc the golf cart made things much easier. So nice to spend the day at the beach and be able to spend the evening after dinner in the pool. Mike is a great and courteous host. We will be visiting again!

All Bases Covered!
This house was ideal for our family and itinerary! We used the golf cart for getting to the beach. We used the pool for relaxing after fun-filled days at the beach. We had easy drives to stores and excursions (Crab Island, helicopter tour, shopping for our teenage girls, family photo shoot at the beach, etc.). The kitchen was fully stocked for our occasional cooking, and the house had ample towels, pillows, pool toys, beach items, etc. – no shortage of any essentials whatsoever. Michael was exceptionally kind and responsive and helpful from initial reservation to questions along the way and check-in and check-out. Our family of 9 was thrilled with how this house enabled such a fantastic and memorable vacation. We’ll seek this house when we return in a year or two!

Property Owners make the trip perfect
We stayed at Living the Dream for a week. Location to the beach is great! We did rent the golf cart which was absolutely perfect especially with little kids. The golf cart served as morning and evening entertainment for the kids and of course transporting people and chairs to the beach. Makes getting to the beach a breeze. Walking to the beach was super easy too. The house is a great place to stay. Everything you need is right there. We had to contact Mike a couple of times for things 100% out of his control and he responded within minutes. It really is so nice that the owner of this property (and not a third party company) communicates directly with us! He was so extremely pleasant and made everything so easy. One of the family members accidentally left some internet items behind. Michael was so responsive and had to go out of his way to get it returned. We so much appreciate his care and concern. On top of the great communication we were able to check in 2.5 hrs early!!! Not that it happens all the time but other places we have rented were so strict on the 4pm arrival time! It was nice working with someone that has the reflexibility of saying "yes, we are ready for you!" The location is so convenient to so many stores, restaurants and shops. Remember, rent the golf cart!!!! Thank you to Mike and Leiann for helping to make our week with the family that much better!!!

This is a great property with a great location, about two blocks from beach. Michael is a great host, very friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Location and Charm
First our host was accessible and so kind. He even mailed back my husband’s chargers. The home was very clean and comfy, especially for our family of 10. Also when entering and leaving Destin you are close to the bridge. We rented the golf cart and it was very handy, especially getting all our gear to the beautiful beach and running to Marble Slab. You are close to the grocery stores and more. The pool and backyard was perfect for all. We spent every afternoon there. The neighborhood is so charming, as is the house. We loved it there. It was all perfect!

Great Family Vacation in Destin!
We had a great vacation at Livin' the Dream! We had three kids under 7 and seven adults and we fit wonderfully in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, and everyone was very comfortable in their own bedrooms. We enjoyed the pool every day and it was a quick walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Mike and Leiann are great hosts and made it very accommodating to enjoy our vacation in Destin.

We spent a great week in Destin. The home was about three blocks to the beach - easy walking distance. In the middle of everything, but you didn’t feel crowded. We plan to return!

Wedding Week
This was such a great house! The cleanliness and extras that were provided was outstanding. My now husband and I got the house for our friends and family along with some of his troop from the Army and we all had an amazing time. From the location to the golf cart making trips to the gas station or down to the beach was absolutely incredible. The heated pool was a life saver with it being cold as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will look into booking again.

The Perfect Beach House!
I've vacationed in Destin for the past 20 years and this was hands down the best house! Great location only 1 block from the beach, surf shops and restaurants. The most comfortable beds! There's so many windows that provide natural light that you never feel indoors. Complete privacy in the back yard and pool. 4 separate porch/balconies. The house is fully equipped with all of the extras. I would definitely recommend renting the golf cart! Michael was an incredible host and went above and beyond! You can't go wrong with this rental.

Best place we've ever stayed
We had a wonderful time staying at Mike and Leiann's rental property in Destin! The house was absolutely perfect for our family - it had everything we needed and more. Additionally, this was the cleanest rental property we've ever stayed at. It's a quick walk or golf cart ride to the beach, which we loved. Mike was a great communicator and was always quick to respond when we had questions. We will definitely be staying at this place again in the future!

Amazing house with great access to the beach with the golf cart. The pool was beautiful, well kept and owner has pool toy’s for kids to play with. The owner has beach chairs , and umbrellas for the beach, plus a wagon for the beach. Too many items to list The owner was super nice and caring about our stay and accommodating to our special guests. The neighborhood was in great vicinity of stores. Had a crockpot for making meals.
