"The clerk welcoming me was friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and had the basic amenities covered. I stayed in room 18. The retro look of the room was unusual but oddly charming in its own way. The sheets and bedspread were clean and comfortable. I was happy to find that they have installed newer light fixtures above the bed that feature USB charging ports, as did the modern alarm clock. "I can not say enough good things about Parker & Cathy or their slice of heaven on the river. I am a single woman and I often travel alone. It is hard to find a place where I feel totally safe. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for single moms with their kids, families or women wanting to travel alone."
