"Unfortunately, there were very high winds so the power company had to shut off the power to the area. We were informed ahead of time and given the option to reschedule, which we declined. They ran a power cord from their generator to the cabin to the heater so we could have a heat source other than the fireplace. As usual, they were very accommodating and the best hosts, ever! Looking forward to coming back for Thanksgiving!!I couldn't believe it, we had 14 turkeys in the front, about 40 various...

"We had a great weekend celebrating my sisters 40th birthday. This house was was perfect. We loved everything about it, especially the big windows! We loved learning the story behind the home and the Littlehale family. It was the perfect get away. Would definitely stay at this home again in the future! "

"My wife and I and our dog decided to do a little get away for new years for a few days from the busyness of life in San Diego. Just less than an hour away we found this cabin in Ramona just a few miles away from Julian. The cabin is nestled on a huge land with the main house seen right when you drive in. There are easy signage to see where to find the cabin based on top of a gorgeous view of the mountains. The drive into this property does go through dirt road so be aware of that when planning...

"We booked this location especially because it was dog friendly. We absolutely loved it and it exceeded our expectations. Paul was great and called the day we got there to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to let us know specifics. Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect."

"This was perfect for my husband and me and our two teenagers. The place was extremely clean, comfortable, charming, and the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. The communication was excellent and we loved our meal at the Julian Cafe. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"I liked the feel of the place. The staff were helpful and friendly. I felt like i was way put in the country ,but in reality we were just a few mikes away."
