"The room was great and the outdoor shower a different experience. We enjoyed the beach and snorkeling. The restaurant was wonderful, especially for breakfast. The property was beautifully landscaped with tropical flowers and thus many song birds and doves were present."

I would recommend booking excursions through the hotel. We did the 9-4pm Catamaran, brilliant. Thursday night BBQ, wonderful. All around laid back atmosphere. "

"Lively property with an amazing view of the Pitons. This was a last minute getaway so room options were limited but I choose what was called a garden view room and was pleasantly surprised to find the front patio of the cottage overlooking the Pitons. Property is just outside of town, but it's on a very steep windy hill so walking to and from town would be tough, but doable for the hearty. Beach in the area is so-so, but Anse Chastanet beach is just outside of town, but its down a very rough, rocky, narrow road leaving you holding your breath you don't meet an oncoming car. The beach itself is so-so, sand is darker, and it's on the sister properties of Anse Chastanet and Jade resorts, but the water is absolutely beautiful and clear. I couldn't get out of it. But Samfi Gardens was a peaceful retreat and would stay again and recommend."

The only suggestion I have for the resort is getting room service delivered a little bit faster but overall it was one of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed at and can't wait to be back. "
