Manor Cottage is actually something of a misnomer because this is a large, spacious house that has been renovated by the owners to a very high standard to provide luxury accommodation to discerning guests looking for something a little bit special for their much-needed break. This property is sleek, contemporary and well thought out but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have a personality. The owners have injected character into the property and there seems to be key pieces to love in every room.
Boasting three bedrooms and three bathrooms it is perfect for families and couples alike. It’s somewhere to unwind, relax and raise a glass or two while catching up with families and friends. There is a lovely, enclosed garden with a patio and sitting out area and the addition of a cosy wood burning stove in the lounge, makes it the perfect choice whatever the season. The kitchen has been designed to accommodate those who love to cook and together with the utility room, it boasts every appliance needed for a great stay. But if you would like a break from household chores, you will find that the area is packed with great places to eat and drink to suit all pockets and tastes.
The real beauty of this location though is that you can tour and really see the best of everything that Norfolk has to offer. Up and coming for city breaks, Norwich definitely deserves a visit with its splendid Norman Castle and award-winning open-air market, here you will find lots of attractions and a city centre that’s great to walk around. For some serious sea-air, you can be in picturesque Wells-next-the-Sea, sitting quayside and watching the pretty fishing boats bob on the tide in just over half an hour. Make sure you visit Cromer too, wander along the Edwardian Promenade and then grab a coffee or lunch on the pier and do a bit of people watching.
Just 40 minutes away lie the beautiful Norfolk Broads where you can join a charter or hire your own launch, making like Swallows and Amazons while drifting along the waterways. In a similar time, you can be in Thetford Forrest exploring High Lodge and Go Ape too. With historical sites like Castle Acre, Castle Rising, the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and the Houghton, Holkham and Sandringham Estates close by too, you’ll soon discover why this area is so very popular with repeat guests. They must return just to fit it all in! And when you join them, you’re sure to return to Manor Cottage too because it is just lovely.
