"By The Bay" is a responsible, adults-only establishment. We are not a party house. We have a lot of Regular Guests who enjoy a quiet place to stay. We require at least a Two-day stay.
"By The Bay" shares one of the most spectacular, ever-changing, Ocean Views on the entire coast with "Tidal Raves", one of the most popular Ocean Front Restaurants. The Wave Action is different every day. Unique, Exciting, and therapeutic, especially during Frequent Winter Storms. Don't forget the ever-changing sky also! We also enjoy a Marine Garden View during low tides. The Charter Boats come into our view as they find the Whales. Enjoy the Hanging, Wicker Chair, located in the covered, wind-protected Patio with a full Ocean view. It is quite an unexpected pleasure. With a 30-day stay, there is no tax required.

We were thrilled with our stay at Depot Bay! Our hosts were great to work with and answered our questions promptly. We enjoyed a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable stay, and amazing view from the dining room window. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic cozy place with a great view
This place is super cute, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, there is a washer and dryer and is comfortably furnished. The view of the beach is an added perk, it’s great couples getaway, it’s quiet and easy to get to.

Cozy winter break at Oregon coast
Wonderful few days in Depoe Bay great ocean views, close dining and shopping. Rental very cozy and seemed to have something for anyone in entertainment, had everything we needed or wanted even binoculars to watch whales and waves would recomend to anyone!

My wife and I enjoyed the 5 day get a way just fine. Enjoyed the easy access to the owner, Walt and really enjoyed the nice, cool weather as a diversion from the Idaho 100 degree days.

My daughter and I stayed for a few days. The weather was gorgeous. Walt is very quick to respond and accommodating! They have everything you might need, a very well stocked perfect little bungalow. I would stay again:)

Well worth it!
Great location. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Great view of the ocean with whales visible from the dining table. The patio is a great place to sit and enjoy a game of cards in the evening. Also, a great restaurant right across the street.

Little gem!
This lovely little apartment was a gem in the heart of Depoe Bay! You can walk to all the ocean front stores from the front door. You can sit in the covered porch to enjoy the beautiful ocean across the street. We truly enjoyed our stay here!

Relaxing Stay!
Accommodations were very nice! There were lots of nice amenities such as USB ports in the bedroom lamps, CD’s with a Bose stereo - music of all genres, wonderful view of the ocean, walking distance to lovely shops, nice protected patio with BBQ, excellent parking area. The full kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. It was lovely to meet Walt as well. We felt at home.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the little outside patio. We had our coffee there, looking out at the bay. The property had everything we needed. We were very comfortable. A heads-up you will be asked to do some cleaning after yourselves, which is mentioned in the description.

Perfect for whale watching
It had everything we could need with plenty of room, even 2 sets of binoculars. Comfortable bed and a great shower head. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of cleaning supplies. Tidal Raves across the street is our favorite restaurant in Depoe Bay. It’s also close to plenty of other restaurants and the cliff trail.

Perfect Getaway
We loved this little vacation rental! So easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and activities, and a short drive to Taft and Lincoln City for anything we couldn’t find in Depoe Bay! No cleaning fee was a BIG draw, and the checkout expectations were no more than what we would normally do! So grateful for a simple spot to enjoy our time away without breaking the bank. Thank you!

Great property for a weekend getaway! The space is well planned for spending time indoors with a great view of the waves on the rocks. Outside is an enclosed patio with a large window making visiting outside cozy without losing the view. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely book again!
