There are certainly major pros to staying at the Curtis Park Club and the first is definitely location. I can't say anything about walkability because it was so cold when we were there, but everything we wanted to do was a quick uber or drive away. The room is easily accessible off a beautiful yard and located right next to the inn's common areas with complimentary coffee, tea, wine and beer. The common spaces in particular were really beautiful. I would love to come back in the summer to use the deck space. Unfortunately, there were also some issues with this room. First, it's a good sized room (the bathroom is GIGANTIC), especially for the price, but the furniture was a little strange. Super narrow tables and the hanging rod in the wardrobe was too high for me to use. Second, this room was loud. The thin walls of an old house and we could hear everything. This room is surrounded by a guest room above and to the left and the common areas are on the right. The stairs that lead to the second floor guest room and common areas is directly on the other side of the wall from the bed so you can hear other guests walking and bumping their suitcases up and down it. They also started snow removal insanely early and it was so loud we couldn't sleep. The off street parking is extremely limited and so even though we paid to park our rental car by the carriage house, we got blocked in by another guest. I though the on street parking looked pretty limited when we got there, but other reviews say otherwise. Finally, the bed was not comfortable. Scratchy sheets and an uncomfortable mattress. I think if they continue to be successful here, the bed could use an upgrade.
Generally I would say, don't shy away from the Curtis Park Club! A great value for the location, there are just a couple small issues to prepare you for your stay.
