Denver 2 King beds, cozy and central Lower Unit

This is an amazing lower unit near a bunch of different sites. It is close to the Denver Tech Center light rail and downtown with easy access to the mountains. There is a convenient grocery store just on the other side of the highway along with some tasty restaurants. There is plenty of parking on the street. Highspeed internet and smart TVs included. Close to the Yale light rail station and all things fun in Denver. It also has its own private mini yard that is fenced in. You will love it.

Awesome lower unit with private small yard. The upstairs does have hardwood floors so sometimes you can hear upstairs guests.

You will have use of the entire unit, there is an additional unit above but it is all separate and distinct.
This unit does not have control of the thermostat, the temperature is set a reasonable seasonal normal, fans and space heaters are provided should you want/need them.

We communicate through the app, text and mobile.

Super quiet neighborhood centrally located.

Car, uber and light rail close by.

Great property
Great property in Denver. Out of the way but still close to downtown and much of what the city has to offer. The beds are comfy and the kitchenette has plenty to be able to cook simple meals. It's a basement unit and the floors are a little thin, but that's to be expected at a lot of basement properties. The host was also very responsive and communicative when I had questions.

Nice location, cute place. Good communication. Only draw back was you can hear a pin drop from the upstairs house. The other party upstairs was not very loud at all but you still heard them walking around.

Upstairs guests were a little noisy after 11pm. I think that the place is still a work in progress, walls needed the repairs to be completed and the one lounge chair was missing a leg so it was unusable but bed were comfortable.

Buyer Be Aware - Basement Unit with upstairs tenants.
I’ll start of by saying the property was clean, matched the provided photos and would have worked well, aside from the lengthy list of issues we faced during our stay. That being said, the owner of the property double booked the basement unit as well as the upstairs unit with separate booking agencies. Being that this unit is in the basement of a two-story home, every footstep, chair scooted across the floor, toilet flush and shower can be heard in the basement unit. Even under what I would consider normal activity upstairs, the noise in the basement unit is LOUD and difficult to comfortably relax in. This coupled with the AC unit running constantly, (controller is in the upstairs unit) in turn freezing the lower unit out to the point of opening all the basement windows in an attempt to create a comfortable atmosphere to work, relax and sleep in. To the owner’s credit, he attempted unsuccessfully to control the AC thermostat remotely via Bluetooth; the upstairs tenants continued to manipulate the temperature to their liking again creating a cold, uncomfortable environment for the tenants in the lower unit. On a Thursday evening, approximately Halfway through our stay, a group of young men arrived for their stay in the upstairs unit. When I approached the group regarding the AC settings and posted quiet hours (10pm to 8am), they replied they were here to party and were going to “try” and keep the noise level down. When my wife and I returned from dinner later that evening at approximately 9:45pm, the Party upstairs was in full throw with no signs of winding down. The upstairs tenant even approached me while we were packing up to leave and asked us to come and join the party... We discussed with the owner the best path forward, the owner stated on the VRBO app “I’m open to whatever makes everybody happy and I will be reasonable” The owner even had the gall to request “a 5 star review so it wouldn’t effect his small business” after we vacated. Ultimately the owner only partially refunded the portion of the stay that was canceled and showed little to no concern for the added expense that was in turn created for my Small Business. I would highly recommend STAYING FAR AWAY from this unit unless your seeking late night parties and “meat locker” type conditions.
