Nestled in the mountains at 8,700 feet this renovated and professionally designed A-Frame Cabin is the perfect blend of comfort, style, and location. Located in Evergreen we are 15 minutes from downtown which offers great options for dining, shopping, entertainment and Evergreen Lake. Abundant wildlife outside our door includes deer, fox and on rare occasions even bear. Our home is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the best that Colorado has to offer.
The Space:
Our cozy cabin is fully furnished and designed perfectly for all your needs. Featuring high speed Starlink internet, breakfast seating, a living space for watching TV or playing games, one full-bath, one bedroom, a wood pellet stove inside and gas fire pit on the deck. Cozy-up with tea in the morning and wine at night. This is the perfect little getaway!
Outside:
Sit outside in the morning with your cup of coffee on our sprawling patio deck. The views are amazing and the perfect backdrop to your mountain retreat. After you’ve returned from your day-time activities, take a break in our hot-tub.
We are located 8,700 feet above sea level. AWD is required year round and during November-April snow tires are required. We find the drive relatively easy for the elevation we are located at but coming prepared with the correct vehicle and tires is a MUST. This is subjective to each individuals experience with the climate and natural elements. Our drive-way is steep and because of this we do recommend 4WD November- April. Use caution driving down the driveway. The first .25 miles down the mountain from our cabin are especially steep. Please proceed this stretch with caution. We do provide snow removal in the winter months and do our very best to maintain it but with unpredictable weather and winds, snow can drift onto the driveway. We cannot guarantee the drive-way will be completely cleared prior to your arrival. Please come prepared. This means hiking shoes or snow boots with good footing. We do provide snow shovels for guests to use for light snow or in-between snow plows. Many guests love and enjoy this experience, but if you are not the adventurous type or do not have experience in these elements this might not be the rental for you. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns before booking.
Other Things to Note:
If it snows during your stay guests may need to shovel the deck/pathway to clear a path. We have snow removal service after every major snow storm ends but it is likely you may need to shovel snow. Ice melt is usually readily available.
We are a dog friendly rental. We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $75. You can select the pet option in the same area you select guest count. If you have missed it, please reach out to us to pay your pet fee. Please inquire about multiple pets, multiple month stays and if you are traveling with cats.
The Air Conditioning is a mini split system installed in the bedroom.
If it snows during your stay guests may need to shovel the deck to clear a path. Please use the snow salt provided. If roads are open and you can't make it to the rental no refunds will be issued. This is a beautiful mountain home and you need to be able bodied to access when there is adverse weather.
There is a weather monitoring camera facing the driveway only.
There are no parties or events allowed at the rental.
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.
If house rules are broken we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit and/or cancel your reservation.
HOT TUB
Our hot tub servicer rotates the service day. It typically falls Mon-Tues, but this can vary from week to week. There is a chance the hot tub will be serviced during your stay. When the water is changed, it takes 12-24 hours for the water to reheat. If this occurs during your stay, we cannot guarantee the hot tub will reach the desired temperature at that time.
CHILD PROOFING: Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house, and accept the risk or harm to any children/infants we allow on the property.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
After confirming your booking, you'll receive a text to download our app, DACK. Using the app, you can request early check-ins and late check-outs for an additional fee. While we can't guarantee approval due to same-day check-ins and check-outs, we'll do our best to accommodate your requests when possible.
TRAVEL INSURANCE/CANCELLATIONS
We HIGHLY recommend buying travel insurance through your airline company, car rental company, or a travel insurance website. We cannot provide a refund for anything that falls outside of our cancellation policy and the dates that correspond with the policy. This includes date change requests as they are considered the same as cancellations (if the new requested check-in date is a later date than your original check-in date). We cannot provide a refund due to travel related issues or Covid, Please review your cancellation policy if you haven't already. This can be found under your reservation, directly through our listing, or through the website that you booked. In most cases (but not all), you have a minimum of 48 hours to cancel your reservation to receive a full refund. Many reservations may have a longer period for a full refund. Last minute bookings are typically non-refundable.
