Disappointed for the Price
First impression was OK until we started to settle in. When we tried to get on the internet, we received a message that until the owner paid the bill there would be no internet service. The host was not able to get it working until the next day. Then the only TV in the house would not connect to the internet after several people trying, and when we messaged the host, he said that he did not have enough staff to help us, that he lived far away (the listing said he lived nearby), and that the TV had always worked before. The front bathroom sink was completely clogged. The next morning before the host sent someone to fix it, we received a notice on the front door that the water would be turned off in 7 days if the bill was not paid. The kitchen tools were really lacking, no cheese grater, no electric beaters, no blender, and several other necessary items. We had to improvise. There was a dried quesadilla on a cookie sheet in the oven. This was Thanksgiving week, and a huge family dinner. The house was 5 bedrooms, but one of the bedrooms with a king size bed was so cold that no one could sleep in it. We brought a room thermometer with us, and it never got above 61 degrees in that room. So, needless to say, we were disappointed for the high price we paid for this stay. We would not stay here again. Actually, the host messaged us that he would be selling all his rental properties after our stay.
On a good note, the ping pong table was a hit, and we enjoyed the great room.
