Fun place for a lake weekend
I invited several of my friends from out of state to come experience a true Minnesota Lake Weekend, and this place ended up being great for it. Check in was easy. The backyard is fantastic, and we had a fire in the fire ring on the beach nearly every night. A lovely surprise was that the sand on the beach extends into the water all the way out past the end of the dock, no muck in sight. Water was beautifully clear as well.
One thing that surprised me was that the bathroom for the bunk rooms is down in the garage with the stairs outside, so the people sleeping there had to exit the building and go down the stairs to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It wasn’t an issue for us, but might be if you plan on putting kids in the bunk rooms. Also, the stairs on the outside of the garage were not the most structurally sound.
Overall we had a great weekend. The place had everything we needed. My friends are already asking if we’ll do this again next year.
