Access to the beach below. Lots of land with privacy. Close to a small town. We took their advice and got lobsters from Captain Matt's. They were delicious! There is one thing that could be improved: the beds could be more comfortable. Adding mattress toppers might help. We would definitely come back! "

"Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at the house- soaking in the views, getting out on our kayaks and taking in the ever-changing tides, wildlife & scenery. And the QUIET; maybe the quietest place we have ever been. We were also treated to 2 nights of the Aurora Borealis, which were absolutely stunning! This is a very special & magical place and we will be back, hopefully sooner than later."
