This 7,000-square-foot historic mansion available for 30 guests was built by George Braun of Anheuser-Busch in 1882, is perfect for your next large gathering or celebration. Enjoy the open, luxurious living space with six bedrooms, four baths, and unique features like a Great Hall, a large wrap-around porch, waterfalls, and a private pond. Enjoy our outdoor yard games, a swimming pool, a pond with catch-and-release fishing, an extensive library, and beautiful gardens.
The property has a fascinating history. The home belonged to the George Braun family until 1919 and was then used as a boarding home for several Denison families. As nearly every old house has a ghost story, the Braun Manor is said to have a few spirits that still linger in the home. While we can’t confirm or deny their presence... we believe most of the sounds guests hear are just sounds of an old creaking house.
Plus, enjoy Munson Park, a stunning park that sits outside the gates of The Braun Manor. With a 174-acre disc golf course, basketball court, and baseball and soccer fields, guests of all ages will have a ton to explore at the park, then return home to relax on your covered patio or by the fire pit!

That's a lot of water to explore, and the good news is there are many ways to do it. First, start at the Eisenhower State Park (4.5 miles from The Braun Manor). Here you'll find a soft sandy beach, clear blue water ideal for swimming, and numerous scenic hiking and biking trails that follow the lake shore.
Lake Texoma is rich in largemouth, smallmouth spotted, white, and striped bass, so fishing is one of the most popular activities here.
