"Definitely, a beautiful stay with beautiful views. Checkin process is so easy and host was very quick in response. There is some issue with hot water but other than that we had a really good time. Will definitely book one more time."

"Unfortunately, the house is in complete disrepair, not maintained and dirty. The mattresses are like sleeping on wood. The lawn and patio had not been mowed or weeded for at least a month. The owner did respond immediately to questions or issues that arose. The view is amazing."

"We have stayed here before, enjoyed it then so much that it was a natural choice for a return trip to the area. The house is well equipped, Alex is an excellent host and our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The sleeping arrangements are great for families, the kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans you need to have a lovely dinner in. Would highly recommend this property if you’re in the area. "

Instructed to only use the front entrance, back access was for staff only to camp laundry. Entrance hall light did not work. A/C was turned down to 13C - to mask smoke smell. Sent text re no TV or kitchen linens, reply to provide in morning. TV not fixed. Cottage structure was satisfactory but very dusty & dirty. All...

"We arrived just before sunset and we were so happy to find such a beautiful home . Our dog had a blast getting his zoomies out in the back yard and the kids made themselves at home in the kitchen making dinner . Our night took a great turn when my teenager asked to play scrabble ! Rarely happens. The electronics were all turned off voluntarily and we enjoyed the fire, dinner and scrabble . Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. "

"We spent four very quiet and restful days at this location. Well appointed with a lovely sunroom, firepit, and walking access to a sandy swimming spot on beautiful Upper Beverley Lake. "The best part of the trip was the boat tour. The lake and area are beautiful. Please match the online listing to signs posted in the suite (e.g. Pool hours only 6am to 9pm). Check-in was confusing and not advised when requesting it in advance. Pool area is not very private with a half-frosted glass partition wall next to the host’s TV/common area. The lakeside suite was not peaceful. The cottage only a few feet away had loud young adults (8+) with no privacy from them staring down at us when...

"My wife and I spent a wonderful week in September at the Gecieve Opinicon. The cottage is clean and well-appointed with all you need for your stay. There is an incredible view of the water from the property including the sun room and bedroom. We spent many hours on the clear water in the kayaks with plenty of wildlife to see. "This small cabin has your basic necessities and was just fine for my father and I on our last fishing trip of the year. I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Unfortunately, late in the year they lower the water levels on the lake and our boat dock was not accessible due to the low water levels. Hidden Gem in Smiths Falls, Ontario

"Okay! We all know that Econo Lodges are NOT 5 Star properties. They never have been, never will be. With that said, the Econo Lodge Smiths Falls is an absolutely GEM!!! First, the staff were amazing. Every single person I dealt with was welcoming, friendly, kind, courteous and helpful! They made my stay so much better!! Second, I travel often, so keeping costs down is important. I understand that the Econo Lodges are mainly old facilities. But the Smith Falls location, even though it was old, was extremely clean and well taken care of. Yes, it showed its age, but did so gracefully. Again, a testament to staff who really care!! Third, OMG my room was HUGE! And it had a balcony facing the river! Which will be even nicer when I go back in the summer!! The bed was super comfortable. Nice size TV. Lots of space, did not feel cramped like some hotels. And endless amounts of hot water, great morning showers!! Finally… and this is extremely important… they had a pancake machine for breakfast!!! EPIC!! Over all, for a hotel that is rated 2ish stars, I give my four day stay a 10/10+. Thank you to the people at the Smiths Falls Econo Lodge for making my travels so incredibly fun and relaxing!!! ✌️&❤️ Ken & Moosie"
