However, finding the place was a bit challenging. It could benefit from a visible marker for nighttime arrivals, especially for first-time visitors. "Our stay in Amish country was nice. The cottage was clean and well decorated, but could use some updating. The location was nice and quiet, as it was not in the center of town. We did have issues with people accidentally trying to get into our room in the middle of the night and the fire alarm going off, very loudly and abruptly waking us a couple hours after we had gone to sleep. We still lived having a space that was just ours, not sharing a building or walls with other people. "

The second bedroom is on the 2nd floor and more geared for children but the first floor bedroom is very comfortable and both beds gave a great nights sleep.
