"Cabin is the perfect size for my husband, me and our daughter in a wheelchair. Loved the porch and ramp access! Kitchen was stocked with all we needed for a lovely weekend. Jetted tub was relaxing after a day of digging at Crater of Diamonds. "

"Place is as described and is quite nice and peaceful there. Knocking off one star because free wifi is listed in the description, but it is not fast enough to be useful. The wife and I tried and tried for about 30 minutes see if the connection would get better but it never did so we just gave up. We would stay here again however."

"We were so looking forward to our stay at Lazy Trout and overall we had a good time! A few little hiccups that Cory was very quick to address. Cabin cleanliness:10/10 Communication w/host:10/10 Safety/functionality of Cabin for young kiddos: 5/10 (1. the staircase is completely open to the living room w/handrail only on the wall side. And no landing rail so no ability to put a baby gate up. This was an over-site on my part as there are photos of the stairway, but I just didn’t look close...

The other reviews, people were mentioning how it smelled like mildew in the cabin, but it's not the cabin that stinks, it's the air conditioner. While we were there, it was cool at night, so we didn't need the air conditioner, i also brought a small fan. "We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a week. There were 11 of us, but could have comfortably housed several more. The children loved having access to the river, lots of room to run off energy, and watching the deer each evening. We had a very busy schedule while we were there, but I would have been happy to actually spend more time at the cabin as it is such a peaceful place. Should we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again. "

"We booked this yurt as a weekend getaway. The views from the deck were beautiful at sunrise. The hot tub was ready to go as soon as we arrived. The place was very clean. The only issue was had was the main light/fan would not turn on. We tried every switch/remote and still wouldn’t budge. It’s not a huge issue since it’s a small space and there is a bathroom and kitchen slight to supplement but definitely something that could be addressed for future stays. "
