This hotel is super near the airport but the street it’s on is off the beaten path and it’s very much like many other streets in India poverty stricken, so it is sort of a shock because there are a bunch of people on the street that asked for money and as a single woman, I did not feel comfortable. All over India like on the streets of Delhi there ere are a lot of beggars and people that ask for money and they come right up to you. I know there are other hotels on the main drag there for the same price that look a lot nicer and if I had been in Delhi before I would’ve picked another hotel if you can afford it go to the Radisson or the Taj Mahal for $100 a night and you will save yourself from people begging and being in a very poverty-atriken environment. The elevator was broken when I got there and I asked them about refrigeration because my medication needed to be refrigerated. They promised me they would fix it and they never did so it was left there for two days when I went to Kathmandu and when I came back, they never put the medication in the fridge like I requested. They told me they were gonna do room service and they never did the room service then finally they did.
