The directions to the place were unclear and even Google maps couldn't find it. The alley it was in was so small, there's no way a taxi could get you close to it... When I finally got there, it seemed to have several names ("Boom Room -- *2*", and "Sahi Dham", I think). Then they didn't have my reservation. I had to figure out how to contact hotels.com, who called their contact for the hotel, who did have my reservation, but what his relationship was to the hotel was unclear (the person behind the counter didn't seem to recognize the name until that person called him)
When all that was finally straightened out, they informed me that breakfast wasn't included, even though it showed on my copy of the agreement, he said it wasn't on his. And even if it was, it wasn't valid until the next morning, which I wasn't going to be around for (really? you want to do this to a customer? are you expecting to make all your $ with just one-off business?)
The room was nice and big, but the bathroom was grotty (though, that's true of every hotel in Paharganj < $35/night).
The only thing they did well was honor the "early checkin" I paid extra for by letting me in the room from 7am (more like 8am once we got the rest of it straightened out) for a 10pm checkout. I was grateful for that, but the rest of it made me wonder how they could be in the 2nd tier of Paharganj hotel pricing ($12-20). All this would have been understandable in the 1st tier ($7-11 range).
