We usually stay with my mom when we visit for the holidays but this time an elderly aunt got mom’s guest room so we debated as to either getting a hotel room for multiple days or a VRBO. I am very glad we chose staying at The General’s Quarters. It is a cozy place, with a lot of references to General Anthony Wayne, the inevitable founder of Defiance, OH. A perfect place for two or a family to stay at when visiting this city of 20,000 in NW OH."

"This is an older property, but Aaron has made it comfortable and homey. My family all said the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. There was a slight cigarette smoke smell (likely from a previous tenant not respecting the policy), but it wasn’t overwhelming. We took our dog for walks, the immediate neighborhood seemed nice but the main streets seemed a bit rough.Netflix and games were a nice touch."

"I traveled with my teenage grandchildren to visit their cousin at Toledo University. We absolutely loved this industrial style loft apartment. They enjoyed the "escape room" vibe for finding and parking. It was spotlessly clean and quality furnishings which I very much appreciated. We could walk to restaurants and a Mud Hen game. Downtown parks are well worth the visit. Host was gracious and responsive."

"Be aware that the front doors to the units do not completely seal, some have large gaps, which means everyone throughout the building/hallway can hear what’s happening in your room. Aside from that, the property itself was nice and clean with no issues. "

"The apartment was great and so was the host. Location is great for getting around Toledo. It was comfortable and we felt at home. It's on Sylvania so you can hear a bit of traffic, but not too bad."
