"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. "Stayed a couple of nights, and it was a very pleasant moment. Staff was nice and friendly. The bed and bathroom was perfectly clean and tidy. The hotel & restaurant is located within a residential area. There is an old monumental building just across the hotel. Breakfast was excellent."
