Beautiful Retreat!
We loved everything about this house! It was perfect for our extended family that included several grandparents. 2 main level bedrooms helped with those with some limited mobility. We will definitely return when in the area!

Our family had a wonderful holiday celebration at this lovely home. From the outdoor hot tub to the well-stocked kitchen to the amazing decor... this was a great spot that we hope to visit again in the summer months. Nice gathering spaces, beds were very comfortable and cozy... many nice amenities.

Fantastic Place
We came to Madison for the Crossfit Games and we had as large group because my son was competing. This place was great. We loved the location (20 minutes away), and the peaceful farming area, The house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable as well. It was a great stay. Thank you!

The family loved the property There plenty of space for 10 adults and 4 children both inside and out We had originally planned to see the madison area during the day but due to the pandemic just stayed on site, and still had a great time The kids and grandkids loved seeing the goat kids

Great Property
We really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic property, thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need, including spare toiletries. Plenty of room for 7 adults. From the hot tub and fire pit in the yard to grilling and corn hole in the driveway to morning coffee on the front porch with the goats, we took advantage of everything… and just a quick/easy drive to Madison. One well-travelled member of the group said best house he’s ever rented - hard to argue with that. Would definitely book again.

Cozy Wisconsin getaway!
My family and I recently stayed at this property as a getaway from Chicago. From the onset, the check in process was smooth and the house was so cozy and clean! The house is spacious and decorated impeccably! The owners truly have thought of everything from snacks to toothbrushes to make you feel like you’re in a home away from home. Best week ever for our exceeded family of 11. Lots of family fun. The house is the absolute best vrbo we have ever stayed in. Super clean, fully stocked, and wonderfully decorated for the holidays. Amazing Vacation
We had such an incredible time here, we never wanted to leave. The highlight of the trip was Otto, the barn cat that wanders around. We all very quickly fell in love with him and we miss him already! The property was very well taken care of inside and out. You can tell that the owners take pride in this property. We had the most relaxing time, everything was beyond perfect. I truly hope we get an occasion to come back and stay again!

Excellent country home!
This was our second time staying at the house. It is exceptional. Very clean with great amenities, including large firepit area, hot tub, wifi, etc. The property is beautiful with walking trails and it's very secluded. There is virtually no noise from any road traffic. Only a 25-30 minute drive to downtown Madison. I highly recommend renting this property for a long weekend or longer.

Ironman Wisconsin
My family and I stayed here during Ironman weekend. You could not ask for a better more relaxing property prior to a race. Our children played with the goats and ran around while we enjoyed the beautiful fall in Wisconsin. Short 20 minute drive to Madison to enjoy the capital. Home is furnished beautifully and we cannot wait to go back soon!

Relax on the ranch
We had two families with 4 and 7 year old children. It was a phenomenal experience and place to stay. The whole stay was just easy, relaxing, cozy, and fun! The house is incredibly clean and well appointed. The goats were so much fun and the patio was full of entertaining games and activities. We can’t wait to come back!! Exceptional home, very clean and quiet
This is an exceptionally well furnished and decorated home with excellent amenities. Great communication with the hosts, who contacted us during the stay to make sure there were no issues or questions. This is by far the most well-furnished and appointed house we've every found on VRBO. It was the perfect size for our family Christmas. The furnishings and amenities are very high quality, and the house is stocked with anything you could need. This is a perfect location for family gatherings.

Outstanding Week
Family of 8 adults and 4 children travelled to rural Wisconsin, east of Madison, for a weeklong reunion. The Evergreen Ranch is located in a secluded area on a small hill with a farm yard just below. We were surprised and pleased with the accommodations, which include 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, nice kitchen and eating areas, several indoor and outdoor gathering areas with activity items provided, a hot tub, nearby hiking trails, and close proximity to Madison with a number of university town activities. The highlight, particularly for the children, was feeding baby goats with Rachel, who is the caretaker. As a family, we have been to a number of vacation rentals. This is the first one to which we may schedule a repeat vacation in the future. Thank you to Joe Arrington and Rachel for providing a great spot and experience.

Above and beyond!
You have only to read the many glowing reviews to get a sense of what this exceptional home offers. We were a group of 6 couples, college friends gathering for a reunion. This open, light-filled, spacious, beautifully decorated, and amenity-rich home offered privacy and comfort for all, along with multiple inviting indoor and outdoor spaces for conversation, relaxation, sharing meals, long walks and play. The home overlooks acres and acres of fields and woodlands, and you are invited to roam to your hearts' content, Rachel and Joe were readily available, but they seem to have anticipated and generously planned for every possible need we could have. Photos just can't begin to do justice to this stunning retreat. It couldn't possibly have been better!

Simply the Best!
My family and I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this property. The home listing on VRBO looks great but it is even better in person. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean and organized. The owners have taken time to make sure your stay is wonderful by including snacks for the kids, which our group took advantage of, and bottles of local wines for the adults to enjoy and a selection of games and puzzles to use. Our family enjoyed putting together a 1,000 piece puzzle, which we have not done in years. The beds were comfortable as were the linens. The exterior of the house is lovely. We especially enjoyed sitting outside at night and making a fire. We have used VRBO to book home rentals for at least ten years. Each house has been great with this home far surpassing our expectations. My family is already talking about staying here again.

This destination could not have been more perfect for our family gathering. The house - which is spacious, tastefully decorated, and filled with natural light - sits on the gorgeous rolling hills of a 600+ acre sustainable tree farm. Three generations of family had endless fun hiking the trails, playing with the baby goats, relaxing in the hot tub, and sharing meals on the gorgeous wrap-around porch. The house is very clean and well cared for; we found every amenity we could have needed and enjoyed playing ping pong in the garage and board games in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked and incredibly clean. Rachel, the property manager, is very kind and very responsive. She has thought of everything - including a binder full of information about local activities and eateries. We visited the Fort Atkinson famers market as well as local bike trails. This property offers that home-away-from-home feel that is hard to find in a rental. We definitely plan to return!

Amazing escape from the city!
We were looking for a place to get away from Chicago for a bit during this pandemic and let our energetic 3 year old son run freely without a worry. We had an absolutely amazing time here! You are in your own little oasis waking up to the trees and the sound of the birds chirping! The house is wonderfully decorated with family gatherings in mind- fully stocked kitchen, laundry supplies, paper towels, toilet paper etc. Coffee bar was much appreciated and it was so relaxing to sip coffee on the back porch in the morning as everyone was waking up. Our son loved feeding the goats multiple times a day- and getting to meet the baby goat recently born. Us adults enjoyed the hot tub, frosty beverages and roasting s'mores over the fire pit after we put the kids to bed. A very special touch- toy dinosaurs were left around the property outside and our little guy almost lost his mind searching for them all upon our arrival. We ended up needing to stay an extra day because the riots and looting in Chicago made us worry about returning to the city safely, and the owners were so gracious and allowed us to extend our stay no problem. We plan to make another trip here with the rest of the family once we can all be together again! Thanks Joe and Rachel so much for everything!!

Grandfather's 98th birthday celebration
