Cozy cabin surrounded by nature
It's a cozy place with beautiful views. There are amenities in the resort such as swimming pool and campground with hikes where to enjoy nature, I guess particularly if travelling with kids. The description and recommendations are very accurate: you should be aware that the closest grocery store is about 20-30 mins (so they recommend you stop by before checking in), satellite internet service is limited (it rained and we lost signal for a few hours), the AC unit is portable and therefore noisy. But overall we enjoyed our stay a lot, including our dog. It was relaxing and we explored not only the immediate surroundings but Boone, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I'd be happy to come back!

Comfortable older duplex cabin
Needs attention. Starts with street #-it's illegible & we passed it first time. Needs a Spring cleaning, Hughesnet is a tease of internet access, multiple devices impossible @2.37Mbps. Nice stove, no pots/pans. Bathtub drains clogged. Deck nails stick up 1/2" trip hazard. AC units cheap & makeshift. Newer gas grill. View outback is beautiful. Thought we could walk everywhere-it's miles to anything. But we did enjoy being with our small, housebroken dog. Rules & emails are suffocating.

Anniversary
There are several things that needs attention. They need to let renter's know that the cabin is older, theat it has a fire place and they need to bring firewood, not wait until you arrive especially in the weather they had. The cabin needs to be cleaned better, smells musky and of suet. We have stayed in better cabins for the same price. I apologize for being so negative. My husband has asthma and kept a headache. We did enjoy all the scenery.

The place was great. It had amazing Mountain View’s and lots of fun activities fairly close by. The only complaint I had was soooo many spiders and webs on the deck. Very thing else was very clean.

A Great Escape
Quiet and serene with a large deck great for relaxing, it was like being in a tree house. Our dog loved watching for wildlife from the deck. Comfortable bed, adequate kitchen, nice fireplace and large windows with nice views. We had a little trouble at first with the door lock, but we figured it out and the manager said she would address it right away. We will likely come again.

Early fall stay
Inside of unit was cozy and had everything we needed. Outside of unit had some cobwebs/dust and view from upstairs window was blocked because window was dirty/streaked from cleaning. Neighborhood was great, very secluded and quiet. View was outstanding! One downside of this seclusion is that internet was very slow/did not allow streaming. This was mentioned in handbook sent out prior to stay, but please be aware if you are needing strong internet connection.

Nice view, comfortable and convenient
We enjoyed out stay! We did wish the main floor bedroom had and air conditioner as the one in the main living space cooled great but didn't get as well into the bedroom (and we couldn't shut the door at night). Kitchen and baths were well stocked and we bought groceries the first day and were able to comfortably cook all our meals the whole week. We did buy a pizza pan and left it there lol... King bed in the master is super comfortable and I'd say better than any hotel we've stayed at in last couple years! Loved the privacy of the lot... couldn't see other houses and we did see deer and turkey during our stay too! Theres a pool, basketball and tennis court but we didn't use any of that (they even had beach towels in the cabin so you can go swim at the nearby creek access if you wanted to, we went and just walked it some) ...Great place to stay without having to go much if you don't want to but central to lots of destinations as well if wanted.
