Cute Cabin In A Private Area
Overall the property and the area were nice and it's very close to many attractions. The size of the cabin was great and it would host a number of people with the space that is there. The kitchen had everything you could need and even had a few staples in the cabinets. The deck had a fire pit and the back deck area had a hot tub. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to use either. One of the highlights we found was a turntable in the loft bedroom and a stack of vinyl records. The speaker wasn't charged but after some major digging we found a cord to charge it and then enjoyed the music. A few negatives: I am sure it's the time of year we were there but there were tons of dead flies in the house on check in and while we were there. Crazy we didn't see any flying around though. The beds were very uncomfortable. They had memory foam on the top but seemed to be extremely firm and didn't budge when you moved. The loft bathroom shower is small but would do fine except for the door leaks at the bottom. We had water running through the ceiling to the main level after one use so didn't use it again after that. And one last thing - when you have a house that sleeps that number of people I always feel like the seating areas should be comfortable and seat a good number of people. Maybe just a different configuration of seating would help. It could be a really great place with a few little changes and some TLC.

Expected better for price
Shower drain a backed up, basement so bad it ran into bathroom floor and around toilet Cleaning was sub par, not sure when the last time windows were cleaned out anything dusted in the house Tv on main floor didn’t work Record player worked but no charger for the speaker Light and fan in living room didn’t work Closet door off track, possibly broken Down stairs door leading outside broken Downstairs pocket doors are all out of adjustment, bathroom doesn’t shut all the way Basement comforter has a very large stain on it. Not sure what it was so didn’t use it. We’re not trying to be crappy or anything, it could be a very nice house. It just needs to be maintained.

Tranquility Cabin near Deadwood
This property is exactly like the listing. Within 1-1.5 hours of everywhere we wanted to go. Expect a 15-20 minute delay on 385 going south due to construction. Kitchen was well equipped, nice to have a washer/dryer and the hot tub, grill, & firepit were definitely used! The Temperpedic mattresses took a few nights to get used to, but all linens and appliances were clean as well as bathrooms. Wi-Fi was sketchy and caused us to miss our football team’s game on Sunday. Enjoyed our stay and the great attractions of South Dakota.

The pictures don’t do this place justice!
This property was fantastic! Everything was very clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was beautiful! Great view from both the front and back porch. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful which was wonderful. It was also very easy to get to everything, with it being centrally located. No cell service, which we expected and the WiFi was a little spotty, which we also expected and had no problem with. Only “problem” was how creaky the stairs were…it was really loud walking up and down! Otherwise this place was even better than we expected! Hopefully we will get to come back. Highly recommend!

Great place for a vacation.
Our family had a great time! Be aware of construction on Hwy 385 on the way to Rushmore/Custer. The detour could add some drive-time, but if you plan well, you don’t need to let it deter you. It was a great home that we’d go back to for our family of 6. It was peaceful. Beds were nice. Bathrooms were clean. Had everything we needed. Wifi was present, but we had to frequently log back in, however, that helped us unplug and relax with our family. Great place, overall, that we’d recommend.

Cozy cabin!
We had a wonderful week at this cabin exploring the black hills! Cozy cabin that is fairly secluded. Beautiful views with deer in the meadow daily. Hot tub was wonderful once we got the water hotter. Outdoor gas fireplace was very soothing. We had trouble with the lock but the property management was quick to respond. Shelves in the master bedroom suite were dusty but otherwise very clean. No cell service but did have WiFi. Fairly central location to explore everything. Not a lot of options for restaurants as we were there before the busy season. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful area!

A weekend
The property was beautiful and the house very nice. Unfortunately there were a lot of dead flies throughout the house. It was pretty gross. Also the fireplace downstairs never worked or kicked on. Leaving the house pretty chilly. With the check out being early at 10 and a decent list of “chores” for us to do on top of a 200 cleaning fee, I don’t know if I could recommend this to our friends. It was definitely nice, some of the drawbacks were pretty severe.
