"The photos don’t really do this apartment justice , it’s enormous and the views are just WOW. Unfortunately we didn’t see any whales from the window . They didn’t want to make a show ! You could look out to see and watch the crashing waves for ages though . Beds were super comfy and huge . Car was parked in a single garage so safe . We made a fire as no heating in lounge and it was very cold . Our only negative was the lack of wifi which I reported when we arrived. Never got fixed so had to buy...

"I can highly recommend this property! It is a short walk to the beach and have the most amazing views. We could even sit on our balcony and watch the whales whilst sipping our morning coffee! The accommodation is great with a fully equipped kitchen and lovely decor keeping with the ocean theme. The owner was also incredibly helpful and very friendly. We will definitely return! "

We could see the sea from our windows and loved being able to cross the road and be on great walking paths both directions along the ocean. We were walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. "Travelling the Garden Route from PE to Cape Town. Travelling as a couple we wanted accommodation that we make full use of all the facilities, and catch up on our washing. We had a sat nav so the place was easy to find. Lots of things to do nearby if the whales are not about, wine tours. Shark Cage diving. The owner even helped us book the Cape Canopy Tours near Cape Town, excellent value and more scary than shark cage diving. The owner Gill, is a lovely lady and helps you out with anything...

"What a perfect spot for a family vacation. It was sublime to have coffee on the stoep each morning watching the sunrise. Property manager was easy to contact and helpful. The only (very mild) disappointment was the swimming pool - not clean. We loved this place; would love to return."

"A very comfortable and inviting penthouse. We enjoyed the week in Hermanus, and the perfect location of La Paradis provided for easy walking to many great restaurants and wine bars. The only downside is the building construction that is going on right next door, but if you don't mind being woken with construction noise at 7:30 this won't be a problem"

"The location of the property was beautiful! We watched right whales bask in the water infront of us. Enjoyed a hike on the cliffs overlooking the water. The property was worn and definitely needs updating. Even the pool was not looked after and was loaded with bugs so we didn’t use it. The kitchen and baths need updating.
