"Loved our stay at Aquila! We stayed in the family room which was very spacious & had a patio area outside. All the food was lovely with a big selection from the buffet. We had African wood massages in the spa and used their facilities which were lovely. The grounds are big and spacious and you can sometimes see animals from your windows But of course the best bit were the safaris, we loved the drives seeing all the animals in the reserve my mum also swapped one of the drives for a horse riding safari which she enjoyed. Would definitely recommend staying here for atleast 2 nights "

"Overall our experience at Inverdoorn was a posative one, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the game drives were brilliant and our guide Fanwell was very knowledgable and attentive, however before our game drive at 6:30am we were unable to have a shower as there was no hot water, when checking out and paying for extras we were presented with an invoice with numerous drinks and bottles of wine we did not order, upon disputing the extras we were told to contact their head office which we did and still have had no response. "

"Old beatiful hotel in urgent need of a rescue. Hotel tried to down grade the 2nd room i paid for. From a Delux Double room to a Studio.Lucky i saw the attempt when booking in? Disapointing a Hotel would do this and when the client sees it,blames the computer. Aircon in Room 227 did not work and was given a 2 bar heater that only made the slightest difference since the temperature dropped below 10 degrees celsius and there's snow on the mountains. Hot water in both rooms was just above room temperature, so showers were very uncomfortable for a morning shower. Breakfast was better than expected. "
