"Just returned. A beautiful resort with friendly staff but unfortunately value for money wasn't great. Expensive drinks - we expected to pay more but the drinks were too costly for the amount and the portions of food were small (and I'm not a big eater). The rooms weren't cleaned as you would expect - only towels changed. The beds were not made (only left as we made them) and bathrooms not cleaned. Only shower gels replaced. "We loved our stay at Hotel Perla. The staff was amazing and the property was very nice, relaxing and not overcrowded with visitors. Not to mention, the beach is only about 25 yards from the hotel (with a beach bar only 15 yards from the hotel). The only challenge we encountered (as Americans) was the limitations of the Air Conditioning system in our room. "Apartment was comfortable, modern decorated and a good bed. Stove, fridge and supplies as promised. Nice modern bathroom and good shower. It is right in the middle of old town, so if you have a car you will need to park away from there. There is a lot with day rates, but its a 10 min walk.
