"This apartment was in a wonderful location near the water, restaurants and food shopping. Plenty of parking and convenient to the apartment. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. This location was so beautiful and restful. A great getaway for a couple!"

"The place was great. On point to the review online everything in place, clean, lots of free space for big families. Quiet and beautiful view. Amazing owners that helped us a lot in every way we needed. The only downside I think about is the mattress being quite old, older folks with back problems we had a hard time to sleep and wake up. Overall a great place. "

"Instructions for check in were detailed and we had no problems. We were able to find a parking spot in the garage but be warned there are only a few and it's first come first serve. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The location is in Fiumelatte, a 20-ish minute walk to Varenna which we were happy to do every day. "The location of this property is perfect. It’s in the main plaza and not to far from the water. 12 minute walk to the ferry & train station. However, they have limited office hours which complicates things if you are getting in pretty late. Grabbing the keys from their office and walking another 12 mins to the actual property was pretty inconvenient (especially if you have luggages). The actual property is really nice and small, good for couples. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azalea! The check in process was easy, there is a walk down to the property like other reviews have mentioned, so be aware! Great communication, great suggestions for food or things to do in the area too. The property is beautiful, spacious, and clean! It has a beautiful view of the lake that we loved! "I hate to leave poor ratings but feel it needs to be said. 1) lights would not work so we discovered circuit breaker had been tripped. We had to flip the circuit several times on the first night because usage of lights and the fan caused outages. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a known problem. 2) shower drain overflowed within a couple of minutes. Water went all over bathroom floor and down wall into first floor. Right along the electrical panel, probably why it is constantly tripping....
