Turtle Time at Castaways Resort, escape to your 5th floor balcony oasis

POOL IS CLOSED! But our beach access stairs just reopened! Most of Daytona Beach suffered similar damage, but many listings aren't disclosing this to you, we feel that being honest with the condition is the best approach, please do your due diligence on the buildings before booking elsewhere. This unit currently has construction on the pool area, so there may be some noise M-F during the day.

Whether it's reading a book on the balcony, spending the morning looking for seashells, or enjoying an adult beverage over a game of cards, this is the getaway you need! Everything you need to cook a quick meal before hitting Main Street, or grab a pizza and kick back on the sofa bed and watch TV. Oh, I almost forgot about the front row seat to the amazing sunrise!

ENTERTAINMENT: new smart fire TV, wifi, board games, and accessories for the beach. The building also has a community room with TV, fridge, and puzzles.

KITCHENETTE: small area with full sized fridge with separate freezer, toaster, portable cooktop burner, pots, pans, utensils, and microwave for meals. Dishes, silverware and even wine glasses!

Guests can have up to 2 vehicles. No trailer or oversized parking available. May be limited to 1 vehicle on event weekends, check with host.
You'll have full private use of your condo. There is a small gym and laundry on site.

We don't live on-site but are very accessible by message or text.

Daytona Beach Shores is your relaxing getaway from whatever you seek to escape... our condo is just 2.1 miles from all the Main Street and Pier action, 5.8 miles from Daytona International Speedway, but quiet enough for a relaxing getaway after you uber home from the action zone. Diner with breakfast and lunch is on-site, and mini-golf is right across the street if you have a competitive streak in you.
Amazing view of the ocean and garden from the balcony of this 5th-floor studio condo in the Castaways Beach Resort. This remodeled efficiency condo will let you appreciate the beautiful ocean and it's sealife. Everything you need to cook meals in, or order a pizza and enjoy a fun getaway with a comfy queen-sized memory foam bed and a fold-out sofa bed. The building has an on-site diner open for breakfast and lunch.

Easy to take an Uber or maybe rent a golf cart for the day!

This building is south of the "action zone" so is a little more laid back, but you can always uber to the party and come home to some peace and quiet :)
Check-in has to be before 9pm on M-F or 5pm Sat/Sun. After that the building is locked up unless you already have your key from inside the unit. After hours check-in can be arranged with advanced notice.

Building owners are allowed pets. Guests are not.

House Rules:
- No smoking or vaping. Smoking in the unit will be subject to a $250 cleaning fee and a non-refunded cancellation of your stay.
- No pets. Pets will be considered a violation of the agreement, subject to a $250 cleaning fee and a non-refunded cancellation.
- Quiet hours from 10pm-8am
- Upon booking, you will be sent a rental agreement that needs to be completed within 48 hours.
- Damage deposit of $250 will be collected as a "hold" on your account and released after check out if no damage claim is needed
- No booking for another person. The person booking must be the person staying and over the age of 21
- A $39 Accidental Damage Waiver is added to all reservations and is spelled out in the rental agreement.
