Spacious Off-Campus House

Are you looking for a great off-campus house with proximity to the University of Dayton, Brown Street, or Miami Valley Hospital? Our home features four bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests, perfect for reunion weekends, Flyer games, or any visit to Dayton. It's nestled between the north end of campus and Tank's (a legendary Dayton bar). This neighborhood is being revived and our listing features security features like automatic locks, cameras, and other safety accommodations.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS WHATSOEVER. We have security cameras on-site (front door and back yard) and are able to see if people outside your group comes to the house. This will result in an IMMEDIATE cancellation of your reservation with NO refund.

This is a NO shoes house. All shoes must be taken off at entry. There is a $10 fee per carpet/rug stain left in the home. Please understand this takes A LOT of extra time to clean.

NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE AT ALL
NO Pets of any kind, no exceptions
NO Excessive guests
NO Mailing Packages to the home.
NO PARTYING of any kind inside or on the property. Please respect the community. Noise level MUST BE MINIMAL after 10PM! There is a noise level city ordinance we do not want complaints! Violation of the noise/party rule will result in the police being called, termination of your reservation, and the security deposit retained. We must respect the peace of the community! Thank you.

PENALTIES FOR THE FOLLOWING. Held against security deposit and claim will be filed with Airbnb.
**Stolen towels: $10 per towel, no matter the size.
** Smoking in the home: $150
**Lost Keys: $50 to rekey
**Late Checkout Past 10am without our consent. $75

Convenient Location but Needs Improvement
We stayed at this VRBO in June 2024, and while the location is very convenient to the UD campus, there were several issues that need addressing. The unit was generally clean, but we found some concerning details. One bed had sheets with what appeared to be a blood stain and long black hairs, and there was more hair in the shower. Another bed had something brown and crusty on the sheet. The air conditioning was okay, but the thermostat seemed to be on a schedule, causing it to reset after a few hours and making it hot inside, especially at night. The yard was very overgrown with weeds and bushes, and there was a lot of trash blown into the yard. Despite the cleaning fee, we were required to load and start the dishwasher, strip the beds, load the washing machine, and start the washer. Most places we stay only ask to pile sheets near the washer or leave them on the bed. (leaving them on the bed would make it easier to check for stains that need extra cleaning) There were no extra amenities. It would have been nice to have extra towels (there was just one towel per bed) and hand soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. Overall, while the location is great, the cleanliness and maintenance issues need to be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

The home was located a mile from downtown Dayton which was very convenient. The home is newly remodeled and very clean. Me and my family enjoyed our visit.

Title: Centrally Located Home with Plenty of Space
We recently stayed at this VRBO in Dayton, Ohio, and had a pleasant experience overall. The house is centrally located, making it very convenient for our trip to a baseball game and other downtown activities. There’s also a grocery store nearby, which was very handy. The home has plenty of bedrooms, which was great for our group. While it is an older house, this seems typical for the area, and it adds to the charm in its own way. The layout was a bit quirky, but we managed just fine. Overall, it was a good stay, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient location and plenty of space in Dayton.
