Wonderful cottage stay
Very comfortable accommodation for 2 people. Welcome bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Home is fully self contained and caters well for dogs. Easy10 minute walk to town.

Cute little cottage
This cottage is perfect for a single or couple. It was very clean amd tidy and had everything we needed. Its also in a great location so close to the main strip. And the best part is its dog friendly!!

Quiet and pretty
This cottage was cosy and felt like we were in the country despite being a short walk from the shops and cafes of Daylesford. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the view and watching the birds. We would certainly recommend it!

Had a lovely stay at Tara Cottage. Nice walking distance to the Main Street and coffee (Cliffy’s or Harvest). Loved the extra touches for our Lucy dog. Just note parking is on the street with step access.

Perfectly adequate for me

Warm and welcoming
It was freezing in Daylesford when we arrived, but at Tara the heating and light were on and a bottle of wine welcomed us. The cottage was beautifully presented, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a cosy, comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and so did our ageing kelpie.

Midweek getaway at Tara’s
My partner and I (and our beautiful dog Sasha) really enjoyed our stay at Tara’s. It was cosy & inviting and very close to the town centre. Highly recommend Cliffey’s for breakfast. We were disappointed when we were told the fire place wasn’t operational and Sasha would have loved investigating the lovely garden without a leash as the garden wasn’t gated. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
My partner and I recently stayed at Tara with our dog and I have to say, we were impressed! Everything is catered for, from a warm, inviting cottage when you first walk in, to complimentary wine, to treats for our fur baby. We felt so at home immediately and wished that we could have stayed longer! Tara is so well located to everything, a 10 min walk to the main street, but feels like we are secluded in our own sanctuary. We loved sitting on the back veranda sipping wine and looking out over Daylesford. Thank you, we will be back!

Tobacco stench.
On arriving to the cottage we were overcome by the smell of strong tobacco...we received a text message from the owner shortly after our arrival, she was very apologetic advising that the previous people had been smoking in the house. We had booked for 2 nights but left after one night as the smell was really awful. 🙃 Not the property owners fault but would have been nice to get a full refund for the inconvenience of having to leave after only stayng the one night.
