"I love this hotel, a truly beautiful property, location is exceptional, just above the Dengshi Kou subway station, walking distance to Wangfujing shopping district. Our room is so clean, we avail the room with breakfast and its the a smart thing to do as their breakfast buffet is so good and so many options. The gym is massive and swimming pool is so nice, with heated jacuzzi etc. But the best thing for this hotel is their staff. I commends their management on what they do for hiring and training as for sure they do have core standards, all of the staff we encounter were so polite and helpful, they always greeted you with a smile and sincerity. Special thanks to their concierge, starting with Paul, Karen, Yina, Eric and Laura, who helps us from the beginning with the tours, transportation and everyday directions. Thanks to the all the breakfast buffet staff and Harry who serve us every morning. Thanks also to the front desk that check us in and out, they also gave us a gift :), thanks to the cleaning staff of our room. I will will definitely recommends this hotel to all my friends and we will definitely go back whenever we go to Beijing. "

"We had an excellent stay in the Conrad Beijing. It’s well worth the price, and everything was pretty affordable for someone from England (the same hotel in London would be over £3,000 for eight nights, as opposed to around £1,000 in Beijing!) Even the minibar was cheap - a coke was £1, compared to €15 in Croatia. The lovely restaurants and bars were also surprisingly inexpensive, though much less so than more pedestrian places elsewhere in the city. The hotel is not particularly near to any tourist attractions, but it is easy to reach these as transport is dirt-cheap in Beijing (a matter of pence, or a couple of pounds for a taxi). So relatively long distances feel much shorter, and the hotel is near to a couple of underground railway stations. The room was exceptional, with all sorts of bits and bobs to imbue it with that extra feeling of luxury. It was thoroughly cleaned everyday, which was very pleasant to return to. The room was also HUGE. The hotel has some nice facilities, although be prepared for quite a serious swimming pool experience, replete with a swimming cap mandate - and no messing around! My only complaint was the distinct lack of English-speaking staff, which was less of a problem for me, (the missus is Chinese). Others may struggle to communicate, though. While alone, a waitress presented me with a translation stating simply ‘period’ - I assume she was asking whether my ‘age’ was requisite for buying alcohol (I’m a rather babyfaced 20-year-old!)"

"The location is very central. It's right next to a subway station, just a few blocks way from the Tiananmen square and within walking distance from the Forbidden city. The staff, Lucky, James and Amber are very helpful and nice. However, the TVs are small, shower drain and hinge were a bit rusty, the heater was not controlable, and light switches were not labeled. Overall, it's really good for the price "

"A wonderful hotel with helpful front desk staff. Breakfast has many options, including coffee station, juice station, western and Chinese foods, amd fresh fruits. Has a nice fitness center. Walking to distance to fast food options, like KFC and a mall with upscale stores and Wumart, which is a grocery store. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Nice for hanging out and walking around for shopping and visiting museums. Not far from Beijing capital international airport. Very convenient for travel to different locations. Nearby subway stations. Only thing is room not that big but still good for two people have good time there. Good breakfast. West food and local style. "
