Longview, a modern mountain retreat is an hour north of downtown Atlanta and situated at the eastern border of Big Canoe. Big Canoe is a premier gated mountain retreat community. This award-winning mountain retreat community features three 9-hole golf courses, 16 tennis courts, 3 lakes, 3 pools (one is indoor), fitness center, spa, hiking trails, biking trails, jeep trails, and play fields and a marina for fishing, pontoon boating and swimming. The community also has a beach club with a swimming lake and sandy beaches, a pool, waterfall rock slide, canoes, paddle boats, and beach volleyball.

The view is the centerpiece of this mountain retreat. Longview boasts breathtaking views of the southern tail of the Appalachian Mountains. All but two rooms in this retreat have a postcard-worthy view. This spacious home has 4 bedrooms/4.5 bathrooms with light-filled airy rooms. The custom bunk room sleeps 4 with each bed's occupant pampered with their own tv and reading/night light. Enjoy morning coffee on the balcony and watch the sunrise. The Gathering Room has three TVs to keep viewers occupied as they play pool or take in a game/movie. High-speed internet will keep all the guest's phones/tablets connected. The Tasting Room has a bar and plenty of seating for the grown-ups if they choose to relax with beverages once the kids have gone to sleep. Longview sleeps 10, pampers guests with custom furniture, a gas fireplace, a newly renovated kitchen with Wolf and Kitchen Aid appliances, 16 TVs, a pool table, and all the amenities of a premier resort mountain community. THIS IS THE ONE!!

Big Canoe is conveniently located 25 minutes from downtown Jasper, Ball Ground, 40 minutes from Ellijay, and less than an hour to Blue Ridge. There are several wineries nearby to explore as well.

Friends Retreat
A great property for our group of 8 adult friends hanging out and playing golf. Plenty of entertainment spaces to enjoy. We watched football on the three TV's while playing pool and cards. There is plenty of deck spaces with mountain views, a fireplace, and screened portch. The house offers a great flow with private space as well. The kitchen is well stocked with extras that people tend to forget at the grocery store. An added bonues is the driveway big enough for 8 large vehicles. I will return on a vaction with extended family.
