"We stayed for 4 nights while tobaggening in the region. We didn't know anything about Monstein and we were so pleasantly surprised! It is the most beautiful and quaint mountain village. Everyone in the town is so friendly. There are two restaurants (we had a lovely chat with the woman who owns the one up the street) and a small grocery store where you can pre-order a fondue mix to eat in the apartment (highly recommend!). Oh yes and the highest brewery in Switzerland is right next door! The apartment is in a traditional (older) house so it is not everything is new but it is perfectly adequate. Ursula and Christian live downstairs and were amazing, lovely hosts. They were incredibly responsive and while Christian spoke English quite well, Ursula struggled a bit but attempted to speak in English with us, for which we are so grateful. She even provided a sled for our daughter to use in the vast yard (with an amazing view!) behind the house. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back!"

"Very close to the congress center and a Migros; great location, view and great breakfast. Good quality to price ratio. "

"5 nights. Alpina hotel Klosters. Allocated a poor tired room. 209. The balcony door was broken and insecure, even after maintenance visit. The heated towel rail in bathroom didnt work and remained so even after a maintenance visit. The television was the most complicated to operate to watch even the simplist of channels. 2 staff were required to finally explain how it operated. No hooks on back of doors anywhere to hang towels or supplied dressing gowns. Too few hangers. Bed comfortable, staff very pleasant and breakfast good. Highly over priced for the advertised 5* No apologies for our continued issues."

"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. I arrived from Zurich and was delighted to discover it was just a few minutes from Davosnplatz train station, surrounded by shopping, dinning and entertainment, steps away from the ski hill jacobshorn. Greeted by Lorena, and again the hospitality was amazing, another lovely conversation. Lorena always greeted me throughout the reminder of my stay, which made it feel like my home in Davos. The room itself was perfect and the amenities were completely satisfying. I enjoyed breakfast every morning with a varied selection and stunning view of the mountains. My favourite was the fully stocked gym with as much equipment as I have at my gym in Toronto. This was easily one of the best vacations of my life and it would not have been the same without mountain plaza and its staff "
