"Bed was comfortable. Vanity was huge but could have made it smaller so the bathroom wasn't so damn small. 1 chair in the room and it had a metal bar as the backrest so didn't even try it. Previous tenant left bar soap on bathroom window seal, as did housekeeping. Refrigerator was GREAT! Put hot, and I do mean HOT drinks in it as we were traveling all day in 100° weather, and in morning there was ice in the cans, bottles. Nice there was a microwave in the room. Keurig brewer in lobby with plenty...

"We really had a great stay here. The staff gave excellent service. It was wonderful knowing we stayed on a piece of history. The restaurant's food was delicious. "

"This was a good place to stay near UC Davis. The train noise did not bother us. Parking was easy. My only complaint would be the room we were in had broken blinds on the balcony door, missing many slats that let light pour into the room. I had to hang up a towel to act as a curtain. The rug felt less than clean and there was some moldiness in the shower. BUT - the beds and linens were clean and so was the room overall. We would stay again."

"We have stayed here a few times, but this was the first it felt unsafe. Many people hanging outside the rooms. First room was not clean and had critters all around. 2nd room was much cleaner but had TP in some weird areas like a hole hadn't been fixed right."
