"this was my first stay at cervantes and was a positive experience. I chose it for the low cost. The rooms were clean and mostly in good condition. However the AC in first room didn't work and they immediately upgraded me to a larger room and I had no problem. Note that the hotel is on the second ..."

Has everything you need but all the nice stuff of the area is not in David. I was there to go to Boquete which is a great area, although best to plan where to go first

David is a well located city in Chiriqui. From there you can go and comeback to several places like Volcan, Boca Chica and Boquete
