"The property is nice, but a little dated. Its very central and easy to get places from by Uber. If youre looking to go to Boquete its about a 45 min Uber drive and can be a little slow finding an Uber on the way back. "

If you are visiting I suggest you try Boquete where you will be pleased. If spending a few nights in David then Alcala is certainly acceptable. The hotel was modern, clean, comfortable and cool, once we had the A/C turned on, a refreshing break from the heat of David. The hotel is nicely located near the square and reasonably close to the bus terminal.The attached restaurant was also quite convenient with decent food."
