This beautiful dog-friendly house on the Gulf of Mexico features decks for sunbathing or watching the waves, easy access to the beach, and breathtaking views of the ocean.

A comfortable living area offers plenty of seating for the whole family, TV/DVD player for movies, and views of the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for family meals. The partially covered deck overlooks the Gulf waters, with comfortable seating and open areas on either end for sunbathing.

Great location!

Great place!
This was the cleanest home we’ve stayed in since vacationing on Dauphin Island! Loved the house and steps away from the beach! Love also that it’s dog friendly. The public access to the beach next to the house did not bother us. It was fun to be around others and they were respectful to not sit in our beach area around the house. Would liked to have booked this home again sometime in September but it’s already booked! We will definitely rent this house again!

Relaxing vacation
Great ocean front house. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking but bring seasoning and spices. Comfortable beds, loved the shaded deck and island had more restaurants than we thought. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation this is a great house for it.

Good location and position on the beach, literally steps away from the Gulf. House and kitchen is well equipped and the online portal pics accurately portray the unit. Two issues, the code to the front door did not work correctly and the left side of the French Door facing the beach would not lock. Still we had a good vacation.

Wonderful Beach House
This house was exactly what we were looking for! We had 4 kids/ 6 adults and the space was perfect and right on the beach. We only had to walk about 50 feet to the water. This house was super convenient for needing to run back to house for items or just a quick lunch break and then head straight back to the water. Kitchen was very well stocked for our needs. The only downside to this location is being right next to public access to the beach. We were not crowded by any means but there were other people that would come over to set up for the day whereas some of the surrounding houses were private. But this was not an issue by any means. Still way less crowded than a beach like Destin. We will definitely be back! We love dauphin island!!

This property was very well maintained. Plenty of blankets and dishware. Caelin was our property manager and very very helpful. Hint: When you put in the door code and it doesnt work do it twice as fast The beach was at the end of the steps and the gulf was beautiful. The island was very nice and had many hidden gems.

Perfectly serene.
We wanted a house right on the beach, dog friendly, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen, and this was it. Place was very clean, all appliances are new, fresh paint, and thoughtful touches like the hose on the beach steps to rinse off made things so much easier. Can't wait to go back!

Nice clean and suited are family situation perfectly. Everything was as stated on the listing. Helpful hint: if you have an issue with the dryer not drying you just need to pull the dryer out about six to eight inches so the vent can breath.

Cute beach house, not supplied for long stays.
The house was clean and has wonderful hot water. Good views from the beach. We went in December 2022 so everything thing was quiet. We were there for 4 days and only given 2 trash bags and 1 roll of paper towels for 6 guests. There also was not enough toilet paper. Each couple cooked dinner each night, and we were only given 3 dish washer pods. Other than that it was a wonderful visit.

Family Trip!
We had a great time with plenty of room for our family just steps from the beach!! The house is accurately depicted in description and could definitely use some updates but is clean and comfy (except for couch). Make sure you take your own beach chairs, beach towels, and everyday paper products. There is enough supplies to get you started. Bathrooms are small with little storage. The only downside is the house is not handicap accessible. House is located beside public beach access, but we put our chairs out every morning so this wasn’t an issue for us. We loved it here. Perfect location! I would recommended ordering from Skinners and eating at Catalina’s in Bayou La Batre!

Spring Break trip
I have a large family and have rented several vacation homes over the years, this is one of the best! First, beach front can't be beat! Then there are 4 nice sized bedrooms and 2 complete bathrooms. Two bedrooms and a bath on each side of the house. There is a great comfy living area, a bar with seating and table with seating for 4. The kitchen is outiftted with everything you could possible need, and even things you forgot to think about, like ice cream scoopers, strainers, tervis cups, wine glasses, cookware and enough utensils, serving dishes and plates/bowls for a large family. A very nice washer and dryer, dishwasher and there is a grill on the porch. One burner didn't work very well, but a minor problem. There is a box on the porch full of every beach toy you would want, including boogie boards, sand castle building toys, kites, etc. There are even chairs available to take down to the sand. Inside there are toys, books and games for the kiddos. A TV is in every bedroom plus one in the living area. The beach is family and pet friendly. A beautiful, safe, clean, family area. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to catch sunrises and sunsets. Skinner's seafood did us great with supplies for our low country boil. Isalnders restuarant was our splurge dinner. The whole family was able to get something that they liked. Check out the aquarium on the island and go bird watching. A ferry ride completed our trip. I cannot say enough about the comfort of this house, or the beauty of this island.

Just Shy of Luxury
Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids (11 & 8) stayed at this property over Christmas 2020. The location was lovely and the back deck was the star of the house. It was spacious and right on the sand and steps to the waves. The grown ups could sit an enjoy coffee or a drink and still keep an eye on the kids playing at the beach. The layout of the house with the 4 bedrooms was excellent for our needs. The bathrooms were passable - one shower was so small we never used it. The newer washer and dryer were appreciated. The kitchen was spacious and functional, with a peninsula with stools for eating. Our kids also enjoyed having a tv in each room with Dish Network so they could lounge in the evenings. Check in and Check out were easy, as was communicating with the property management. Overall, little upgrades would go a long way. Much of the cookware is old. The bed linens *really* need refreshing. Providing beach towels & chairs would be appreciated. We didn't have enough trash bags (2 for the entire week), dishwasher soap tabs, or paper towels (1 roll for the week) - providing ample of those types of things would elevate the stay immensely. Having a little hand vacuum available would have been so helpful for getting sand up by the doorways. While this is in no way the fault of this house or the property management - the entire time we were there, GIANT dump trucks were relocating sand from the street onto the beach and using the roadway right next to this house as a conduit. From 7am to 5pm every day except Christmas Eve and Christmas, the dump trucks would run the route, passing by the house 20 times every hour at least with such speed and force that it shook the entire house. I cannot underestimate how intrusive this was to our vacation - it was like living in the middle of a construction zone. We commented several times that we were glad not to have kids who needed to nap because it would have been impossible. It also made parts of the beach right at the house unusable, as they were part of the area being used by the project. We totally understand the impact of multiple hurricanes this summer/fall, but this was unexpected and hugely impactful to our stay. In the future, we would probably look for a house that isn't directly adjacent to an access street.

Nice house.
The house was nice and clean. Just steps from the water. The outside hose was helpful getting the sand off of our feet. The public beach was busy and noisy. People would come and set up in front of the house. If you come for an extended stay with a lot of people be sure to bring extra household items as we ran out after the first day. Overall we had a great stay.
