"Nice hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Room was very good. I liked the rooftop area with bar and very nice pool. Good location. It's very close to the red light district which has loads of bars and restaurants - not all are sleazy! Try Juniper Hotel bar on the 12th floor. Great views. It's on Street 130 (one street from Sun & Moon). Quay area is nice and Royal Palace is walkable."

"The Pavilion is a beautiful property once you get inside. Doesn’t look impressive from the street but when you enter it is an oasis of tranquility. Excellent service and beautifully laid out. Getting a room with a private pool was worth the extra cost."

Staff felt a bit disconnected, seem to be more preoccupied with busloads of tourist arriving soon. The checkout was a joke, unnecessary long and almost mistrusting of the guest, tights why it is not an excellent rating"
