"Nice location. Great staff as most Filipinos are. Limited breakfast but sufficient as it’s included in the price 👍 Avoid rooms next door to balconies, smoking is allowed there, people congregate there, smoking and talking to the early hours. As a non smoker it wasn’t a nice place to be. 1 guest was there on his phone shouting down the line at 4.30 am, at 5am I politely asked if he could tone it down as I was trying to sleep. Typical selfish obese American he refused 🤔. He stayed there until 7.30am, yes 3 hours on a phone shouting, total ignoring anyone else that was still sleeping. Saying that I would have loved to have ejected him over the balcony was an understatement, as a non violent person I decided to request a new room. Which was granted at reception. Little did he know that for over 20 years I was a semi pro fighter and could have chosen not to be so polite 😳"

"Incredible resort! Food was amazing! Staff were unlike any we've experienced anywhere; extremely attentive and helpful. Known for their dive shop, they did not disappoint. Valet diving at its best! Incredible beach and 3 separate pools. Spent 10 days in paradise. Thanks to Jennifer, Edward and especially Larry for their top-notch care! We would definitely return."

"I had ants in my room, the kitchen is very slow in getting food out. The worker's do what they can, but management doesn't care. The employees are paid minimum wage even with a college degree. Their peso wage equals to $5.50 USD a day. Yet they smile every time you see them. I stayed there for Critter Republic scuba diving. I just wish the resort was as good as Critter Republic Dive Center was."

"Absolutely incredible stay. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are clean and updated. The most incredible part is the staff. They are so welcoming and friendly. They made our stay unforgettable. The resort felt like our own little oasis. We spent the days diving which had the best dive guide, dive manager, and boat crew who made the whole thing so smooth and easy for our group. We always felt safe and everything organized so well including snacks and drinks between dives. Lots of turtles, a sting ray, and even a blue whale was spotted! The evenings we relaxed by the pool and the bar or took advantage of their incredible spa facilities. This is my second visit to salaya and we'll definitely be back again. It is truly an incredible place! I cannot recommend enought!"
