"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

My only criticism was not knowing the wee pub across the road, the Stavely Arms isnrun by the same team, as we would have dinner there had we known. The breakfast was epic, and the bed was super comfy. Well worth the money we spent both on the accomodation and in the bar."

"The hotel room was large and well furnished, though the bed was slightly uncomfortable and I think the mattress had seen better days. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and catered pretty well for our vegan diet, though the vegan milk options were somewhat limited. The hotel is ideally placed for access to Knaresborough town centre and had ample private parking. "
