"We've been visiting the area for 40 years now and returned for a weekend of kayaking on the Mitta. Communication with Joanne was outstanding and everything was as expected or better. It's a great location, just a short walk from the Golden Age but facing towards the West with big views of the countryside. We particularly appreciated sitting out around the fire pit. A fantastic weekend!"

"We had three families stay at this lodge during summer. It was a comfortable stay and there is plenty of room for groups to spread out through the property. Close to Hotham/Bright/Mt Buffalo/Falls Creek. "

"A nice and practical cottage.The games available were fun! The shower was lovely with great water pressure. It was quite warm when we arrived, so a possible suggestion could be to have at least a pedestal fan for guests to cool off. "

Lacking light in the kitchen area, very hard to see when...

"The Harrietville Cottage is beautiful, cosy and well-equipped. The gardens are superb and make for an excellent place to relax. The addition of an outdoor fire place is excellent, really complementing the mountainous atmosphere. We would highly recommend this place to couples and families wanting to visit what is for us one of the most beautiful places in Victoria - Harrietville."

"The newly constructed River Barn is a great spot with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. You can wander down along the river which is part of the property, our little dog had a great time exploring. The listing on Stayz was unfortunately misleading, stating a travel time of 53min to Mt Hotham whereas the road is actually closed in winter so it's 3+ hours which scuttled our snowboarding plans. The driveway is a bit dicey - if you have a car with low clearance you might struggle....

"We were 3 x 60+ singles who stayed in Harrietville for 2 nights. 2 were travellers from the UK. The house has a nice living area with pretty views of the garden. But we were surprised there was no WIFI. Our visit was Mon-Wed in March and many places in Harrietville were closed. The property was quite expensive and the price increased depending upon how many bedrooms were used. We opted for 1x Queen and 1x 2 single beds. Unfortunately the single beds were very narrow and more suited to kids than...

"The property was well located for the bus to Hotham & bars & shops in Dinner Plain. I recommend signage for the chalet & the parking be made clearer, especially for those arriving at night. Bunk bed mattresses could have been more comfortable. The airing/drying room for ski gear was not ventilated, which was a problem when drying boots & clothes. Otherwise, a good warm space after a day skiing. I would rent again if the drying room was ventilated!"

"For our group of motorcycle fanatics, all wanting to stay in comfort but close to some great roads and twisties, you can get no better than Feathertop. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Two large lounge areas to relax after long days of riding, all sourrounded by this quiet village...but walking distance to the pub. This is our second yearly trip to the area and Feathertop is our go toplace to stay."

"Our small family felt most welcome at the Telluride property . Very smart and well equipped 'house' with an awesome fire and warm comfy beds . Appreciated the provision for 'all abilities':spacious safe access bathroom and ramps back and front . The modern appliances enabled a 'cruisy' family life . The location was ideal for both privacy and looking out to the mountains . So many great places to visit nearby. We had a great stay and hope to come back soon."
