"A terrific property set in a quiet location close to Nottingham Road amenities. A perfect place to base to explore the Midlands. Staff were excellent - we were the only two guests staying at the time and were extremely well looked after."

"We were breaking our journey, so only there overnight, but it was a great stay. Wonderful having the animals strolling outside. Ideally a longer stay would be better to experience more that's on offer. Facilities were good. Direction signage could be better placed. "

"I regret booking this place, it’s very dull and needs a lot of maintenance, the wardrobe was outside our room, how in earth do you expect people to keep their clothes in the wardrobe placed on a passage where everyone has access on? There was no dustbin in our room and the toilet, I was not even told where the kitchen was, I booked for 2 people, but there was one glass, one towel for the entire 2days. We didn’t have the remote for the gate, so everytime we had to go out we had to phone because...

"The stay was ok as the location was convenient for the function I was attending. I had to pay extra for breakfast which I dont recall from the booking. The carpets were were shabby as was the 2 seater couch. The bed linen was clean! I was given a family unit. The space was awkward to move around due to the sleeper couch and 2 seater couch."

"Could see that this used to be great (when photos were taken) While it was was mostly clean, there was a lot that didn’t live up to the promise or what we paid for. Lots of stains too. The bed linen is specifically tired and needing replacement - in no ways can it be called premium. There was no Wi-Fi and no bathtub - also both mentioned in the property description for the superior cottage (Crane Cottage). "The location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. Staff - super friendly and extremely helpful at all times. I can't rate them high enough! Accommodation was adequate. Very dark room - needs some more lighting. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom - needs a re-vamp. Load -shedding was well managed. "

"Stayed for a night with my girlfriend on the way back from the midlands. The owner Tina was an incredibly sweet and kind lady. With the property being nestled on its own serene little plot of land, I'd highly recommend it to any couple looking to unplug from the world for a little bit."
