"Hummingbird Cottage is a beautiful cottage steps away from the lake. The cottage is furnished very nice and has everything needed for a great stay. The location is quiet and peaceful but very convenient to dining and shopping.The host contacted us shortly after arrival to see if everything was as we expected. I would highly recommend this to family and friends for a great place to stay at the lake and I look forward to returning in the spring. "

"The property is not maintained outside. Safety concerns for sure. Huge hole leading into dock. Sock needs to be power washed due to buildup it’s very slippery. Bricks, stones, 2x4s randomly placed trip hazards everywhere. Lawned not mowed. Trash wasn’t picked up from previous renters . Inside ok for a DIY, table unstable, plywood bench, bed support broken. "There were 8 family members that stayed here as we traveled in for my daughter's wedding. The layout of the house was perfect and very roomy that allowed us to spread out and made getting ready on the wedding day a breeze. Upon arrival, the house was clean for the most part. "We really enjoyed being unplugged for a long weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday and spend time with our 1 year old. The house is perfect! "Property owner was responsive to questions. Property was even better than pictures show. Be aware though of steep walk to the lake (which was known to us). Elderly and young children probably won't make it. But we got used to it and offers a nice, short exercise. Plenty of stocked firewood for a campfire and s'mores. Great stay!"

"We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂"

"The cabin/location/ is an amazing place to stay, furnished with everything you need and some and the cleanliness was exceptional. David the host (promptly) answered any questions I may have had about the place before my arrival. The outdoor area is awesome along with plenty of firewood for the fire pit.
