This family château, built in the mid-19th century in a neo-Renaissance style, has been completely renovated over the years by its current owner, Patrice de Goulaine.
The château is shared with the owners, who reserve the first floor for their private use.
The bedrooms on the 1st floor are very comfortable, all with private bathrooms (bath, WC).
You can take a walk in the English-style park and woods, enjoy the swimming pool and a nearby riding school.

- Halfway between Alençon and Le Mans (30km, 30 minutes), in the Sarthe department in the Pays de la Loire region, this family chateau was built in the 19th century by an ancestor of Patrice de Goulaine's family, the Countess of Gallway for her son.
- The English-style park was designed by the famous landscape architect Edouard André, in a romantic style.

History:
- The château is based on the site of an ancient 10th-century fortress.
- Occupied by the Germans during the Second World War, it was the scene of a battle between the Germans and the Americans, who liberated the castle and the village on 10 August 1944. Every year, officers from Saint Cyr and the Saumur cavalry school come here to study the operations that took place during this famous battle. It was here that the Americans and General Leclerc's 2nd Armoured Division met up before heading north-east to liberate Paris.
