"We had been wanting to try the Ethan Allen as we had previously stayed in the Hilton and Marriot in Danbury previously. The Ethan Allen was very nice and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and the hotel room itself was clean and modern. We will definitely be staying there again very soon!! "

"Lujleta at reception was bright, cheery, and welcoming, as well as efficient in proactively giving us information about complimentary breakfast, fitness room, free filtered water there, and asking how many keys we wanted. Two thumbs up for Lujleta!"

"Sherrie, who handled my call the day before and who greeted us upon check in, was outstanding, welcoming, pleasant and responsive to our needs and questions. Every other employee was also very polite and pleasant. The hotel lobby and room was very clean and bright. Loved the pet friendly features. No issues with anything. had a great stay here and will do so in the future."

"The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the bistro is ridiculously overpriced. We got a coffee, hot chocolate and 2 avocado toasts and it came to $45."

"The property was being used as a homeless shelter, this should always be disclosed to the public.When we arrived there were 2 police cruisers and officers dealing with a family outside the lobby. The desk clerk insisted that we did not have reservations even though we did. Then when I retreived the confirmation from my car and he ran it through the computer It said my name ,but all the other info was wrong and he said, "just sign it!" which I would not. It took over 40 minutes to clear this up....

"We enjoyed our stay- cottage was cute and cozy and convenient for our needs. A couple of things I’d suggest for improvement: less furniture- the place is small and the furniture was too big and too much for the space; the bathroom could use an update - take away the carpeting (it didn’t look very clean) a small bath throw rug by the tub would be all that’s needed."
