"Lovely property with wonderful staff. We had a very nice bungalow and were provided breakfast each morning. However, the property is far out in the country and with that comes problems. There was no water in our bungalow for a good portion of each day. No hot water at all, any day. Also on the day we left, no electricity which also meant again, no water. For any other food besides the restaurant, we had to trek to Loboc or Bilar. I feel this will be a better place once they get the utilities and area transportation sorted."

"This stay was lovely, with aircon in all rooms, and short drive to nice beaches. There are a few things however that the description lied about. The villa is a 15 minute drive to Alona beach, not a 10 minute walk. The only beach within walking distance is the docking area for boats, and is dirty in general. Also, they charge 300pesos per 12 hours of use for the washing machine, so keep in mind that it is not included. For the cost of the house however our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. "

"The whole ambience of the eco camp is just so chilled. The pool is amazing and clean and wonderfully refreshing in the heat. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, organising food for us to bbq and offering a moped for half an hour when we ran out of cash to go to the atm. If you have already done most of the tours in the island then there isn’t masses to do around Balilihan except the waterfalls and you need a scooter to get around. We didn’t have this so instead just enjoyed a lovely chilled day in the peaceful surroundings. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a budget place to stay. "
