"Have stayed here before so know the hotel is in a great position in the old port. Room was on the small side however and would have liked a bath but only a shower available. There was a kettle in the room but no cups (?) and no fridge"

"The door didn't close without us slamming it, some staff were very friendly but others were quite rude and didn't tell us when the breakfast buffet moved next door until we came downstairs and reception was locked so we knocked until someone answered. The area around the hotel is lovely but the hotel itself isn't the best. It's old, with black mold in the shower railing, orange soap scum staining the curtain and poor ventilation, even worse AC. Says the soap etc is included but provided only one...

Young Deborah and Pierre especially could come home with me to befriend my two offspring of the same age. The place itself is a gorgeous neo-classical structure of heavy sandstone blocks finished with contemporary fixings that together create a refined yet funky air of nouveau chic. Great value too."
