"Very nice staff. Room was as shown in pictures. Clean and well kept up. Pool was nice, not a lot of space but wasn't ever a crowd. They provide filtered water for free which was awesome. Only downside was the elevator is up a couple flights of stairs"

"Amazing beautiful room with a private pool. Staff were so accommodating and wonderful! There were beautiful peacocks everywhere and the location was ideal to see all the things we wanted to see in the area. There was a restaurant with buffet and a la carte options that were delicious. It was very helpful to have a good food option each night on site when we returned from our day’s adventures. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. "Hotel in the jungle with a rustic charm. Room was good with a comfortable bed. Lots of ants in the room initially but I suppose being in the jungle that’s to be expected! Restaurant food was plentiful and delicious. We stayed three nights and we didn’t get bored as there was a good varied choice -buffet or the a la cart menu-. "IS superb enough of a description? Warm welcome, huge rooms with a view of the pool and lake with also a huge bathroom. An internet that really works and superfriendly service. "This was one of the most friendly hotels that we have stayed in for a long time. All of the staff seem to have a genuine interest in making sure that we had a good time and made the most of our stay in Sigiriya. They also organised a couple of trips for us - to Polonnarua and an elephant safari. "The staff and management is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were subpar but clean enough. No aircon which was fine but no hot water either. The showers were non functional and no buckets were provided till requested. The property is isolated and tough to find. However for the price and for someone seeking a secluded no frills stay with kind and helpful staff I recommend the hotel."

"The hotel is average. Rooms are clean and spacious. Amenities are good. What I didn’t like is the breakfast dining hall which is open from all sides and flies are roaming around. The butter was left open which should have been covered to ensure hygiene. Lots need to be improved."
