NANNY's Kool KOTTAGE is a Family Friendly Cottage nestled within walking distance to all activities in DAMASCUS VA. Nanny's Kool Kottage is a 1930's Craftsman style bungalow that was fully renovated keeping the 1930's charm with modern amenities. The kottage has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Fenced in back yard with outdoor grilling and fire pit. Covered parking and EV friendly. Nestled in the Heart of the Appalachian Mountains, you are only steps away from access to the VA Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail, Iron Mountain Trail, Bike Rental, Trout Fishing, Local Cuisine, Art, Shopping, Kayaking, Canoeing, Farmers Market, Brewery, and a list too large to produce. Cute, clean Damascus cottage
Check-in was a breeze and location of property was great and in walking distance to stores/restaurants in Damascus. The property was clean and as described in listing. We had a wonderful time biking the Creeper Trail. Would stay at this home again in the future.

Great place, perfect location for cycling
The kitchen was updated and well appointed. Loved the front porch and back yard for morning coffee and evening happy hour. We used the house as a base to ride the Virginia creeper trail. Lots of space to store bikes, easy access to trail, great grocery store and restaurants nearby.

The house was very clean, very quaint, very cozy and welcoming. We had a short, visiting for a NASCAR Race in Bristol. So it was long hours out and it Was such a comfort To have a nice cozy place To come back to at the end of a Long day.

We stayed here as vendors for Trail Days. It was a very comfortable and quiet house to relax in after a long day at the event. Check in was a breeze and we had no issues. We would absolutely stay here again. Convenient location as well.

This cottage was beautiful! It was super clean and cozy. Decorated really nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We came to visit our son who is doing the Appalachian Trail. We hadn't seen him in 6 weeks. Very nice little town. If ever we visit Damascus we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful little cottage
We all loved it! The location was awesome, close to a diner, gas station, and grocery store. We stayed for a wedding in shady valley, TN and it was only a 20 minute drive, with beautiful scenery. We visit that area a few times a year, and we will definitely be renting here each time as long as it’s available!

Great house, great host!
We had a lovely visit at Nanny’s Kool Kottage! Location is fantastic and quick walking distance to Main Street Damascus. The house is exactly as pictured and well appointed with everything including basic necessities to do laundry, make coffee, etc. Host is very easy to deal with responds quickly. Loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay - the Kottage was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Floors were immaculate. Full kitchen had all needed cooking utensils if you choose to cook in or just enjoy coffee in the morning. Within walking/biking distance of all the small trail town of Damascus has to offer. Great home base to stay in while my spouse hiked a section of the Appalachian Trail. Thanks!

Perfect Getaway
Nanny's Kool Kottage was the perfect getaway for our family. It was extremely clean and comfortable and in the best location. Walking or biking distance to everything Damascus. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to the area.

This was a great place for three friends to stay! We loved being in walking distance to the bike rental stores and several restaurants in Damascus. The house was very clean and we really enjoyed having the full kitchen. The only things to add would be some nonstick spray for the kitchen and maybe some mattress toppers for more comfort!

Simply put nicest little home away from home. Spotless and comfrontble. Center room (main with closet) bed was had so we put egg cushion on it, made it perfect. I don`t think anyone would come up with reason not to ever want to go back again.

Great place to stay!
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying here. It’s close to the center of town and within walking distance to the trail and many of the local shops. The owner, David is extremely friendly and responsive. The cottage is ultra clean, has wifi, and TVs in every room. If you want to eat out, David has posted menus for every local restaurant on a cork board in the kitchen but if you want to stay in the place is fully stocked with everything you’ll need if to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner. When I come back to Damascus, this is where I’ll stay!
